   <li>In our present setup, ''any registered user may edit any page.'' This is common to many wikis, even Wikipedia. I have set up the wiki so that only registered users can edit our content, but beyond that there is no control. I've looked at the mechanisms for implementing a permissions model so that we can restrict the editing of certain pages to specific users. For example, we could restrict Laser content so that only the [[User:LaserSteward]] or [[User:LaserCoSteward]] accounts can edit that content. These mechanisms all required extensions to MediaWiki, and there are several such extensions, but I've played around with some. They tend to be hard to understand, hard to configure, and often have bugs or unpredictable behavior. I've made the executive decision that, for the time being at least, we will try to get by without editing restrictions.</li><li>Please try to resist the temptation to change pages you don't "own". Instead, notify the owner and let that person make the changes you want. If you're not sure who owns a particular page, just look at the change-log (click View History at the top) and that will tell you who the owner is.</li><li>Please act in the community spirit that you always have! It's that spirit that has made CreatorSpace such a success. We are all adults and all want the wiki to succeed. If we do have problems down the road, I can always add content restrictions.</li><li>''Please not that all content edits are logged!''
